These are the simplest belly button rings – belly bars (or bananabells) with small balls at the either end. The top 5mm ball is screwable and the bottom 8mm is attached to the bar. This is a standard one and most of other navel jewelry follow these sizes.
You won’t find many belly rings that are made from completely plain metal. Most of them have at least some kind of adornment – like gems set into the bottom ball. I’ve seen more plain belly bars among gold belly rings – gold is a precious metal and therefore looks well even with no additional touch at all.
