One day in school me and my best friend whose birthday is a week apart from mine and we decided that we wanted to get our belly buttons pierced.

For my birthday my mom was really hesistant about allowing me to get my belly button pierced but because my aunt had it done my mom, my aunt, my sister, my cousin all went to get my new piercing i was nervous and my mom only went to sign!

My aunt has her belly button done so we went to the place where she went because of the fact that she liked that they sanitized everything in front of us and he was very nice he made sure to explain stuff and the way he had me positioned of the table with my arm across my shoulder i couldnt see the needle.

After the ring was in he told me how to clean it and that i had to keep up with it what i shouldnt use and not to listen to my other friends just use warm water and antibacterial liquid soap i did and it still looks great 4 weeks after i should be able to change it soon!

Omg. I had wanted a naval piercing since i was what like 4 or so? My older sister had hers done when she was 12 and i fell in love with them!

As my sisters only my half sister and we have different mums my mum wouldn’t allow me to get mine done for ages! My 12 birthday came and went and while my brother was going away to France with the school me and my mum decided to go on a girly weekend away

So one day we decided to go to Gt.Yarmouth and have a walk round and while my mum was scouting around for clothes shops and so on I was looking everywhere for a piercing shop, by now mum had already said that if we found a nice clean shop I could have it done!

I looked everywhere but still no hope! They were all stinky filthy places, But then out of no where we spotted a sign wich was outside a jewellery shop wich mainly sold belly rings saying “body piercing also” so after fussing around outside the shop i finally went in!

We spoke to the really nice lady in there about what i wanted and while she was sterilising the equiptment i was looking at all the jewellery and chose a surgical steel banana bar with a red gem and went through to the piercing room. Imediatley we could tell that everything was sterile. She marked my belly checked that it was alright with us and told me to lie down. She then talked me through how she was going to clamp it blah blah blah and then told me to count to 3, when i got to 1 she pushed the needle through and said im done litterally i was like what the hell it’s done?

It cost £25.00, its been about 1 month and im EXTREMELY happy with my new piercing!

I’ve already bought hundreds of new jewellery for it but im waiting a year before i change it just to be safe to clean it i started of using lavender oil but now i use 1 teaspoon of SEA salt with bolided water once a week and spray savlon wound wash on it about 3 times a day.

Four months ago, I decided to get my belly button pierced. I begged and begged my mom, and finally, she let me!

I was so excited that I ran to my bestfriend’s house, grabed her, and headed to the nearest tattoo parlor. When we got there, I was shaking so bad I was making myself sick. We told the owner what I wanted and he took me back. He was setting up the supplies, while I was making sure I really wanted to do this. I couldn’t decide…

The piercer, Eric, was craking jokes to make me feel better (I was 14 at the time). He said he woke up that morning saying “I can’t wait to stab someone in the stomach!”

This of course made me feel worse. After an hour of deciding, I chose to go through with it. My best friend was holding my hand and Eric told me to breath in. I did and he said “All done!” I looked up at him, laughing, thinking he was joking.

I looked down at my belly button and saw that is was pierced! I laughed so hard knowing that I had made a complete fool of myself making everything worse than it really was. Eric looked at me and asked if it had really hurt as bad as I thought it would. “I didn’t even feel it!” I shouted!!

It only took about three months to heal, and changing it out didn’t hurt either! I love mine and definitely recomend you to go to caddo, oklahoma to Parker’s tattoo and get it done there! Eric Parker is completely sanitary and he only charges $20.00 even for ANY piercing!

Since about the 9th grade I have wanted a lip piercing but my parents absolutely hate them and really any other facial piercings. Well, this year I’m a senior in high school and thought about just doing it cuz hey I’m 18 ya know

Well, I mentioned it and my mom said if I did she would not pay for my car insurance and phone bill and I would have to start paying rent.

Well, I wanted my lip done but shoot I’m not that dumb

So finally one day she was talking to my neighbor and piercings came up and she said to my utter shock and awe that she wouldn’t mind me getting a belly piercing!

Shoot i was so excited I jumped on that and it was agreed if I passed my math class she would pay for half of my piercing.

Well, that week I passed that class cuz I was taking it on the Net. So I go in to get it done at this really nice guy’s tattoo place he happened to know my boss at the jewelry store so he gave me a hella of a deal.

So now I have my belly done and as soon as I can switch them my boss will make me a custom belly ring that I get to design ha ha ha. I’m soooo happy!

About a year ago my cousin got her belly pierced and all my family went mad, i had the idea in my head to get my done, but i knew my mum would never say yes.

Around septemeber just gone i asked my mum as a joke if she would ever let me get it done and GUESS WHAT ? she said YES, but i was way to scared. All my friends were going mad at me, they wanted theirs done but weren’t allowed.

Anyway Novemeber comes and i’ve been told it doesen’t hurt at all, so i said to my mum yeah let’s get it done why not. I didn’t think she ever actually get it done for me, but yesterday (24th decemeber 08 ) she said it can be a xmas present and we went to the body piercing place (punktured) i picked a double jewelled belly bar and i signed some papers with my mum and then i saw the lady get some scissors, they looked pretty scary.

By now i was very very scared. Me and my mum entered the little room which looked alot like a dentist room along with a dentist chair. Anyway the woman marked me with a fine purple pen and asked me if that was where i wanted my piercing and i said yeah that’s alright.

So then all of a sudden i feel this great deal of pain and i closed my eyes, but my mum told me the used the scissors to clamp my skin and i was so frightned and then a couple of seconds laters it’s done. i was allowed to look in the mirror before the plaster was put on and my belly bar was a so beautiful even with the pain i had.

i did think i was weird, because none of my friends had this pain. I thanked my mum and the woman i was really happy. I walked out of the shop with my mum, but i have to admit i was in so much pain all of that day including some of today (25th decemeber 08 ) .

If you really badly want you belly done then i would go for it, but if you’ve only just decided, think carefully :].
