Belly Piercing Story

Hey, i have had my belly piercing for over 5 weeks and i love it soooo much. i got it done for my 15th birthday because i asked my mum if i could have it as my present and she said yes, i also got my third ear piercing and the top of my ear done because i thought you only live once, right? :-)

I don’t live with my mum i live with my dad and his partner, they have no idea that i have it done, i am not only hiding my belly piercing but also my new ear piercings…i intend to tell my dad when i am 16 because i know he’ll be so angry if i tell him i got it done when i was 15, i had 2 beg him for ages to get him to allow me to have my 2nd ear piercings done…whats he going to say if he finds out i got my thirds, top AND belly done!

I feel bad about going behind his back but i really wanted them done. i want 1 more piercing and that is my nose but i am not getting it done behind my dads back plus i can’t hide it so i asked him but he said ‘when your 16′ its only 11 more months but i can’t wait, i wanna get it done in the summer so it has time 2 heal because at my school u r not allowed to have them, my school is so strict, your only allowed to wear 1 pair of earings and they have 2 be studs and silver or gold, how stupid is that!!! and it is a girls school- we are girls, we need to wear more than one pair!

So i am hiding my thirds and top from the teachers at school and my dad and his partner at home! When i woke up on the 21st of Demcember (my birthday) i was soo excited and extremely nervous. i didn’t eat breakfast which isn’t a good idea because if you havn’t eaten and u r scared of needles there’s a good chance you’ll faint but i am not scared of them and so was fine, but don’t risk it!

So me, my mum, and my little brother drove into town and when i saw the shop in the distance my heart began to exelerate and i remeber thinking ‘you’ll be fine it will all be over soon and tonight you will have all your piercings done’ but i also couldn’t belive it was finally here I WAS GETTING MY BELLY BUTTON PIERCED! BTW incase you are wondering you have to be 16 to get it done on your own because you have to fill out a form but my mum was with me so she did them for me.

The women sent us upstairs for the forms to be filled in and there was a women waiting there-her ears were covered in earings there was no space on her ears!-but it looked cool.

She let me chose my third piercing earings, my top earings and my belly bar (i went for a rose double crystal 1), she then told me that she was going to pierce my 3rd’s but was sending me upstairs for the rest.

She told me that the top was going to be pierced with a needle and that made me panick and i nearly said i don’t want the top done but she said it didn’t hurt at all and my mum said just get it done, so i went through with it, i have to say my 3rds hurt more than my top and belly put 2gether!

When she had done my 3rds i went upstairs where another women was waiting for me, she was really kind to me. My mum had to go move the car and i said i would wait until she was back to get my belly done. The women put a small black dot on my ear and asked me if that was ok i said yes and she told me to lye down on the table. she clamped my ear, sprayed it and then pocked the needle through…i didn’t feel a thing!

The women was right! the process was the same as the belly piercing so that gave me some confidence. My mum wasn’t back yet so i decided to get my belly done and surprise her when she got back. The women dotted my belly button and asked me if it was ok and i said yes then i lay down on the table and lifted up my top, she put the clamp on my stomach i was nervous again but the women talked to me and distracted me.

I was explaining to her how my dad had no idea what i was doing and that i wasn’t going to tell him until i was 16 and while i was talking she pushed the needle through my stomach i panicked for a split second but before i realised that she had tricked me it was over. I couldn’t help but smile it didn’t hurt at all!

I got up and looked in the mirror…it looked amazing it didn’t bleed or anything! I heard my mum coming up the stairs, so I put my top down, she came into the room unaware that it was all done, I smiled and showed her she liked it 2, i hugged my piercer and thanked her and headed out of the shop. I was scared of touching it and i wouldn’t lean forward when I sat down because I didn’t want to agitate it.

It hasn’t got infected yet and last week I changed the piercing because I bought the cutest turquoise belly bar and wanted to put it in and because my piercing was annoying me because as it heeled the bar had moved down and was sticking out too much. I was soo worried incase I couldn’t get it back in or it got infected but everything went great. It felt so weird changing it because of the holes but I didn’t mind. The wholes were a small price to pay for something as beautiful as a belly piercing!

Belly Piercing StoryI still have the turquoise belly bar in now as you can see in my picture and this one is smaller so only the balls of the barbell are showing and not the bar. I probably shouldn’t have changed it so early but i couldn’t wait, I was lucky that it didn’t get infected, your actually supposed to leave it in for 3 months, I would advise u to leave it as long as u can incase it goes wrong.

I haven’t got the flattest of stomachs but i don’t care because the piercing is for me to see and no one else to see, I am tempted to get the bottom of my belly pierced but I’ll have to ask my mum…another piercing to hide from my dad! lol…well that’s if my mum lets me ;-)

If you want your belly pierced then get it done and don’t let anything stop you, they are great, if you don’t have the flattest of stomachs it doesn’t matter!

If you are scared of it hurting, a little pain is a small sacrifice to make for something as amazing as a belly piercing. Mine didn’t hurt like so many other peoples belly piercing’s wouldn’t have hurt but that doesn’t mean you won’t feel a thing.

Everyone is different but I can safely say on behalf of everyone who has there belly button done that it isn’t unbearable, don’t worry it is over in a matter of seconds hope you enjoyed my belly button piercing story and hope it has helped you decide whether you want to get a belly piercing or any other piercing, although i would advise you if you are planning on hiding it from your parents don’t go swimming in a bikini! lol…I still haven’t figured that 1 out for myself yes..but after 2 more months i should be able to take it out and leave it but the holes will be visible so I will wear a costume for swimming when my dad is there until i am 16! lol

Thank you for reading my story! :-)

Belly piercing story

I wanted my belly button pierced ever since I first heard of it but I wasn’t really serious about doing it I just wanted one too. I moved to a state that doesn’t have many good piercing places so I waited til I was on vacation to get it done.

I found a good place that a lot of people had been to that said right on their own website that they will numb your skin first if you ask them. After seeing that I was definately going to get it done and I was sooo excited for over a month waiting to go on vacation to get it finally done!!

We get there and the guy says no we don’t do that here I can’t numb it….I told him what the website with his name on it said and he didn’t have anything to say…

I was really pissed and freaking out and changing my mind!! But I went through with it anyways after walking around all nervous for a few minutes. I closed my eyes the whole time and had my mom cover them too just to make sure lol.

The clamps didn’t hurt at all but the needle did…it was only like 5 seconds of pain though. I was afraid to sit up and move around because I thought it would hurt but when I finally sat up I couldn’t feel a thing at all anymore!

I was so afraid that sitting in the car with my stomach bent right over my piercing would hurt too but I still didn’t feel a thing! I was so amazed and so happy! Some stupid girl was trying to tell me that it would puss and bleed soon so I told her that it only happens when it get infected and it hasn’t happened to me at all.

I’ve only had it done for 2 weeks but it feels like I’ve had it forever! I only wash it with soap when I’m in the shower and I’m thinking about not even doing that anymore because my skin is really sensitive to the soap it’s just too harsh and it’s drying out my skin and causing the piercing to be red all the time and to be kind of sore.

So I stopped using the soap so much and it’s way better it actually looks like it’s healing now that I only do the sea salt s! oaks twi ce a day.

I was also VERY happy that they had my favorite color belly gem to get pierced with! I saw the same exact one online and was praying they would have it at the shop and they did yay!!!

Belly Piercing story

Well, ever since i can remember, i’ve always wanted my bellybutton pierced. I loved the look of it. Anyway, i begged my parents for years, but the answer was always no, which sucked. They always came back with the same defence “you’re too young” So i left it for a while.

Now that i’m 13, a few more of my friends had theirs done, and their stories just made me want to get mine done even more! The place i wanted it done at, one day had half price on belly piercings ($30) and i begged, but still the answer was “no”

A few months after that, my friend asked if i wanted to get ti done with her, i was thrilled. I asked my mum, and surprisingly she said yes! I was so excited. We rang up and booked an appointment. The day came around very quickly and that morning, my friend rang up and said she couldnt get hers done. Looks like i was on my own. Mum was a bit worried i would chicken out, but i kept reassuring her i wouldnt.

That morning we went to the chemist and bought some numbing cream. I applied to the navel area and waited half an hour for it to numb. We arrived at the place, which might i add was the cleanest place in the area. We walked in, and by then i was really really scared, but also excited at the same time. The lady was really really nice. She gave me a form that i had to fill out and sign. And then she bought out all the bars that i could choose from. They were all gorgeous, but i chose a pink one, i couldn’t wait for it to be in my belly.

I sat down and waited for a little while, i was so scared that i was now shaking haha. She took me through to a little room and it all looked soo clean which helped my nerves a little, but not much LOL. The lady that was doing it was really nice and i asked some questions, and she gave me answers. She told me she had hers done, and it was pain she definately would go through again. Which helped. She then got an alcohol wipe, and wiped it over my whole belly, so much for the numb cream, hahaha. Mum thought that i definately chicken out, but i said i had come to far to chicken out now.

After that, she told me to stand up really straight so she could mark it, she rubbed the mark out a few times, and then she finally got it straight. She then told me to lie down on a really comfy bed thing, and then she got all the things ready. By then my heart was beating so fast! She told my mum that she could hold my hand if she liked, so i did. She talked me through the whole process as she was doing it which was heaps good. She clamped it, which felt weird, but definately didn’t hurt. And then without even telling me, she put the needle through, i squeezed my mum’s hand so tight, but surprisingly, it was over in about 2-3 seconds. I felt a bit silly for being so scared.

She then had to weave the belly bar through my belly. It was a bit of tugging and stuff, but i wouldnt say it hurt. She then told me that i could sit up, and i couldn’t believe that it was over that quick. I looked down at my belly, and fell in love, i had my belly button pierced! I was so happy. The bar looked gorgeous. She applied betadine to the area and put a patch over it, which i had to wear just for that day. It stung the tiniest bit as i got up and took the first few steps, but not much. She then gave me a bottle of betadine to take home which only costed $2. All in all the whole thing costed $82, but it was so worth it. She gave me a piece of paper which ahd all the things i needed to take care of it. I also needed to apply dettol handwash in the shower every night.

The first night i did everything that i was asked to do (betadine, dettol etc) and i never touched it. That night when i went to sleep i accidently rolled onto my belly. It was a little bit sore but not much. I’ve now had it done for about 4 weeks, and i’ve never forgot to put betadine or dettol on it. It’s going pretty good, it gets crusty from time to time, but nothing too serious. I’m glad that i got it done. I went out and bought 3 new gorgeous bars. I can probably change it soon, and i can’t wait until i can :)

Anyone who wants to get it done, seriously go for it, it’s so worth it, and prices may differ for different stores. I’m glad i went ahead with mine :]
